He specializes in business and marketing plans, public relations, high-definition video, audio, and DVD production.
FEM serves as the marketing director for the South Florida Branch of AXA Advisors, LLC, a worldwide leader in financial protection and wealth management. His work with AXA Advisors contributed to the branch being honored by The Beacon Council – Miami-Dade County's official economic development partnership – with a Beacon Award in the category of Financial Services. His marketing and public relations efforts also led to the branch being recognized by the South Florida Business Journal as a finalist for the DiversityWorks! Award in the category of Corporate Diversity, and he was also a finalist in the newspaper's "Up And Comers" awards, which recognizes outstanding young business leaders under the age of 40 who have achieved a solid measure of success in a variety of professions, businesses, and non-profit organizations.
In addition to his corporate experience, FEM's out-of-the-box, cutting edge ideas propelled the marketing strategy for author Jay Nussbaum's novel, A Monk Jumped Over a Wall. The groundbreaking viral video – a short film directed, edited, and scored by FEM – generated 100,000 combined hits in seven months on YouTube and other web video sharing sites, was profiled in blogs and major media outlets, and became an official selection of the Amelia Island Film Festival.
As a freelance writer, he has contributed to national publications and international online resources in the areas of home theater and multimedia production, including HDTV Etc. Magazine, where he founded its “Hi-Definition Listening” column covering the DVD-Audio, SACD, and DualDisc music formats. FEM has also collaborated with Hispanic talk show host celebrity, Lili Estefan, co-writing her segment in New Theatre's "Miami Stories."
As a music producer, musician, and composer, FEM's work can be heard in Apples & Oranges' album, Contrast, available on iTunes, Amazon, and other e-tailers. He has been a voting member of NARAS (the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences) – which produces the popular televised Grammy® Awards program – and has been recognized for his musical talents by Billboard and Guitar Player magazines.
FEM graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Media Communications, and is dedicated to supporting the South Florida community. He currently serves on the board of the Institute For Child & Family Health, and was involved with AXA Advisors in the formation of the Adrienne Arsht Center for the performing arts.
